The Riverside County Transportation & Land Management Agency has two offices to serve the public.

Each office provides an array of in-person services with representatives from the Building and Safety, Planning, and Transportation Departments. Information for these departments can be obtained at any office. You may also see our online services section to see what services are provided over the internet.

Payments

The County of Riverside accepts cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover & American Express for all transactions.

Credit Card Information

Riverside County has contracted with Heartland Payment Systems to accept Credit Card payments. As part of our agreement, Heartland will charge a 2.28% additional per-transaction service fee effective October 1, 2018. 

Please note: Credit cards will be processed twice; once for permit fees and a second time for the 2.28% service fee.

Please note that Riverside County does not receive any portion of this service fee.

Payments can be made over the phone or at the Desert and/or Riverside Office.  You can contact our cashier at:

760-863-7735 to complete your credit card transactions.

** Please have all project/permit information ready.

Additionally, most payments that have been invoiced can be paid online by Credit Card or e-Check, if you are registered and the associated billing contact.

CREDIT CARD REFUND POLICY: Applicants will be refunded on duplicate payments or payments made in error ONLY.
