The applicant must submit an Application For Naming an Un-Named Road Eastment, listing six different names for consideration. When a street name has been tentatively accepted, the County will petition all adjoining property owners for their approval of disapproval. If a majority approval is not attained, a street name will be assigned by the Transportation Department, Survey Division, Right-of-Way Section.
Please refer to the County of Riverside Surveyor Fee Schedule for the current fee and fee related information. The fee must be received with the application to initiate processing. When selecting the proposed street name, please note the chart below, which pertains to width and and classification of road easements.
