Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program

Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program- Federally funded contracts that are administered by the County of Riverside are subject to the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 26, Title 49 entitled "Participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises in Department of Transportation Financial Assistance Programs".

The County of Riverside affirms the utilization and participation of qualified minority, women and disabled veteran firms in its contracting and procurement activities.  The County of Riverside encourages general and prime contractors to afford competitive subcontracting opportunities to minority, women and disabled veteran firms where possible, in their contracting and procurement activities with the County of Riverside.

The County's DBE project goal is published in the "Notice Inviting Bids" for each Federally funded project. To be eligible, DBE subcontractors must be certified with the State of Calfornia Unified Certification Program (CUCP).
