The applicant shall obtain the required building permit(s) from the building department prior to any construction on the property. All building plans and supporting documentation shall comply with current adopted California Building Codes, Riverside County Ordinance 457, and California Title 25 regulations in effect at the time of building plan submittal and fee payment to the Building Department. All Building Department plan submittal and fee requirements shall apply.

PERMIT ISSUANCE:

Per section 105.1 (California Building Code, CBC): Where any owner or authorized agent intends to construct, enlarge, alter , repair, move, demolish or change the occupancy of a building or structure, or to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert, or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing system, the regulation of which is governed by this code, or to cause any such work to be done, shall first make application to the building official and obtain the required permit. The applicant shall obtain the required building permit(s) from the building department prior to any construction or placement of any building, structure or equipment on the property. The applicant shall obtain an approved final building inspection and certificate of occupancy from the building department prior to any use or occupancy of the building, or structure.
